# September Release: 
It's been a wild couple of months. In addition to migrating to the new version of Bevy and dealing with various issues / bugs etc. We've made some larger changes to the app. 

## Performance
We've made some significant performance improvements by tweaking a Timer in Winit and adding framerate settings to the application (Settings menu)

You should be able to play for significantly longer, without the previous overheating issue. 

## New VFX + Assets
We've made a handful of VFX improvements, especially noticeable around the magic missile spells by integrating Bevy_Hanabi and having the projectiles accelerate on a curve.

We've also added a new Island asset that should look better and be more readable. 

## Relic Improvements + Upgrade Paths
In addition to tweaking and rebalancing relics we've added upgrade paths to several relics. 

In particular, you may want to check out:
- Ring of Double Missiles
- Arcane Sentinel
- Totems
- Mana Font

## Shop Updates:
We've added exponential price scaling to the shop to encourage players to pick and choose which spells and relics they want, rather than purchasing everything. 

We have a lot of updates / changes coming around progression that will significantly change the experience. We're excited to tell you about them in 

## GameCenter Integration
We now have leaderboards! We're planning to keep improving 'platform services' like this as we move closer to a commercial release.
